Greg Rutter's Definitive List of The 99 Things You Should Have Already Experienced On The Internet Unless You're a Loser or Old or Something

I just came upon this through Twitter. I've seen more than half of them but apparently I missed out on some fun internets.  I can't look at them all now but after work I'm all over it!

River Pulse

Milwaukee, WI

RiverPulse is a video art projected on the wall under the Marsupial/Holton bridge near Brady street in Milwaukee.  It evaluates the temperature, clarity, flow, and oxygen levels in the river and translate them into color and shapes to make these images.  It's interesting to see the quality of the river projected so literally in such a beautiful way.  Before I got out of my car I just thought it was a screensaver, and that they were going to turn it into an advertisement projector.  To my pleasant surprise it's there to stay.  Bravo, Milwaukee.

Born Free

I just Stumbled Upon this video called Christian the Lion. I'm such a softy for animals, it made me cry. Check it out, and learn more about Born Free if you care too.

I'm so cranky right now.  Do you ever get on facebook and look through friends/old friends photos and get miserably depressed? Well I do. Somehow no matter how much fun my life might be (which it isn't very much at the moment) I find myself envious of what everyone else is doing.  I need to fix how I think about this, but how?

apple picking

I ordered this earlier this week, and I'm STILL waiting for it to even be shipped.  As soon as I ordered it from MacMall, the invoice said it was backordered, thanks for the forewarning guys!  Well, I just called them and Apple is supposed to send a shipment on Oct. 1st. So next week I will finally have freedom from the silent gray box that is my cubicle.  I'm sick of waiting! To cure my anticipation, suggest some new music for me to d/l.

I'm starting fresh with a new journal. Hopefully I stick to updating it.
